Riyad Mahrez extended his scoring streak to eight in seven games after Manchester City moved 12 points clear at the top of the Premier League by beating Brentford.
After a tough opening, Mads Roerslev's rash tackle on Raheem Sterling presented Mahrez with the opportunity to score for the seventh successive City game as he sent David Raya the wrong way from the spot.
